{"id":2489,"date":"2019-06-09T10:18:51","date_gmt":"2019-06-09T06:18:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oxygen.org.am\/?p=2489"},"modified":"2019-08-26T10:31:21","modified_gmt":"2019-08-26T06:31:21","slug":"meeting-discussion-at-vanadzor-city-hall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oxygen.org.am\/en\/news\/meeting-discussion-at-vanadzor-city-hall\/","title":{"rendered":"Women in Local Self-Governments as Pledges of Community Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Ahead of local government elections on the 7th of June in Vanadzor Municipality, the Oxygen Foundation jointly with its partners the United Nations Development Program in Armenia and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development, organized a meeting with the headline\u201d Women in the Local Self-Government, as Community Development Guarantee\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of the meeting was to discuss the issues of women&#8217;s political participation in local self-government bodies with women&#8217;s community leaders, current community elderly members, and candidates nominated for forthcoming elections, NGO representatives dealing with women&#8217;s issues, as well as representatives of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development.
