{"id":4876,"date":"2021-07-23T14:26:51","date_gmt":"2021-07-23T10:26:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oxygen.org.am\/?p=4876"},"modified":"2021-08-10T12:22:36","modified_gmt":"2021-08-10T08:22:36","slug":"funding-opportunity-eu-small-grant-announcement-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oxygen.org.am\/en\/news\/funding-opportunity-eu-small-grant-announcement-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding Opportunity EU Small Grant Announcement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Local initiatives for promoting inclusiveness of electoral processes and practices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key information:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project<\/strong>:\u00a0<strong>Elections4All2021 \u2013 Domestic Observations and Citizens Empowerment by Civil Society<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Expected grant duration<\/strong>: up to 9 months<br \/>\n<strong>Maximum amount<\/strong>: 20 000 EUR<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of the EU funded\u00a0<strong>\u201cElections4All2021 \u2013 Domestic Observations and Citizens Empowerment by Civil Society\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>project OxYGen Foundation for Protection of Youth and Women Rights is hereby announcing a competitive call for eligible applicants to enhance the capacity of persons with disabilities, elderly people and first-time voters with disabilities to participate in the local level elections by conducting local initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong>\u00a0\u201cElections4All2021 \u2013 Domestic Observations and Citizens Empowerment by Civil Society\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>project is implemented by OxYGen Foundation, \u201cHelsinki Citizens\u2019 Assembly \u2013 Vanadzor\u201d NGO, \u201cUnion of Informed Citizens\u201d NGO, and \u201cYerevan School of Civic Studies\u201d educational NGO. The Project is funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>The overall project contributes to improving the Armenian democratic processes by fostering CSO-coordinated oversight and monitoring for inclusive, gender-sensitive, transparent, free, and fair elections in 2021 both at local and national levels.<\/p>\n<p>The objectives and results of the sub-grant\u00a0awarded under this call should be in line with the objectives and results of the project and particularly the following key component of the project:\u00a0<strong>Promotion of inclusiveness of electoral processes and practices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants should propose activities of this nature:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To implement local initiatives (at least 2) to promote inclusiveness and participation of voters with disability in the local level elections with involvement of local initiative groups and direct beneficiaries, such as:\n<ul>\n<li>awareness raising activities<\/li>\n<li>capacity building workshops<\/li>\n<li>empowerment actions<\/li>\n<li>publications of posters and booklets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Evaluation Committee will take into consideration the following evaluation criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall quality of the proposal<\/li>\n<li>Cost-efficiency\/value for money and quality of the proposed budget<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience and relevance to this experience<\/li>\n<li>Innovative elements<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for replication<\/li>\n<li>The extent to which the proposal will include products that target and\/or contain analysis of key voter groups such as young female and male voters, male and female voters, people with disabilities, national minorities, displaced persons and rural\/urban populations<\/li>\n<li>Impartiality and nonpartisan principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Applicant should ensure EU visibility of all proposed activities. This should be described in the proposal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Call is open for CSOs, non-for-profit organizations, legal entities, and individuals.
