Through the adaptation and strategic implementation of the “In Her Shoes” toolkit, the project aims to bring about measurable change in the understanding and attitudes of community members towards Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The project\u2019s approach will ensure that by the end of the intervention, participants are equipped with both knowledge and practical strategies to support survivors and advocate for change within their communities.<\/p>\n

Main Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The contextual review and adaptation of the \u201cIn Her Shoes\u201d toolkit to align with Armenian cultural and social dynamics.<\/li>\n
  2. Identification and partnership with local non-governmental organisations and activists to establish a strong community presence and ensure project sustainability.<\/li>\n
  3. Development of a detailed training plan to guide the implementation of each session, to ensure a structured and consistent approach, interactive and participatory activities, including role-playing, discussions, and scenario-based exercises, to enable participants to explore the realities of Gender-based violence (GBV) in a supportive environment.<\/li>\n
  4. Intensive training for local trainers from each target region on the adapted \u201cIn Her Shoes\u201d toolkit and GBV to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to conduct toolkit-based trainings effectively in their respective communities.<\/li>\n
  5. Seventy-five interactive training sessions in Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor and Shirak regions involving 1000 participants. These sessions will use the adapted \u201cIn Her Shoes\u201d toolkit to engage participants in meaningful discussions about the nature, causes, and consequences of GBV.<\/li>\n
  6. Following the training sessions, the project will support participants in organizing community-led engagement events to sustain momentum and promote ongoing dialogue around GBV.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
