Through capacity building, cross-border exchange, and civic action, \u055b\u055bYouth Democracy Exchange: Empowering Future Leaders in Armenia and Georgia\u055b\u055b <\/strong>project aims to enhance youth leadership and reclaim shrinking civic spaces in Armenia and Georgia. The initiative directly responds to increasing civic space restrictions, democratic backsliding, and limited youth participation in public life. By the end of the intervention, 20 young leaders will be equipped with knowledge, skills, and tools to advocate for democratic values and human rights, and a cross-border youth network will be established to promote sustained collaboration and solidarity.<\/p>\n

Main Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Development and delivery of a comprehensive training programme on civic activism, human rights, democratic governance, gender equality, and policy advocacy, including:\n
      \n
    • A 1.5-day online Training of Trainers;<\/li>\n
    • A 5-day in-person capacity-building training in Armenia for 20 youth leaders (10 from each country).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Mentorship and support for participants to design and implement at least 5 joint youth-led civic action projects addressing human rights and civic engagement, directly reaching at least 150 peers in Armenia and Georgia.<\/li>\n
    • Organisation of a 3-day Cross-Country Exchange Programme in Georgia, fostering collaboration, mutual learning, and building trust among young leaders from both countries.<\/li>\n
    • Implementation of a Regional Forum\/Conference on Youth and Democracy in Armenia to present project results, share best practices, and deliver policy recommendations to civil society stakeholders and decision-makers.<\/li>\n
    • Establishment of an alumni network to sustain youth cooperation, foster continuous dialogue, and support future youth-led democratic initiatives beyond the project duration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
