On November 27, within the framework of the \u201cEQUAL \u2013 EU 4 Women\u2019s Empowerment in Armenia\u201d project, a closing event-conference titled \u201cEQUAL: From Achievements to Sustainable Progress\u201d was conducted. During the event, the partner organizations and project participants presented the key results achieved over the three years of implementation and outlined the next steps in advancing gender equality.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn essence, this project was created with one purpose – to stand at the forefront of preventing all forms of gender-based violence, discrimination, and inequality, while promoting equal opportunities for women, men, girls, and boys across the country,\u201d noted Margarita Hakobyan, Executive Director of OxYGen Foundation, in her welcoming remarks.<\/p>\n

EU Ambassador Vassilis Maragos also highlighted the project\u2019s importance, the partnership-based approach, and the achievements registered, reaffirming the EU\u2019s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening women\u2019s rights and advancing gender equality.<\/p>\n

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Tatevik Stepanyan emphasized the significance of recent years\u2019 Government\u2013CSO cooperation and coordinated joint work, noting the contribution of OxYGen Foundation and partners in developing sectoral policies, strategies, and ongoing reforms.<\/p>\n

OxYGen Foundation continues working closely with partners to build a safe, inclusive, and just society, where every voice is heard, and where everyone enjoys a life free from violence and discrimination.<\/p>\n

Next, we will present the project\u2019s key achievements and the changes registered throughout its implementation, shaping long-term impact at individual, community, and national levels.<\/p>\n
