Together with the members of the National Assembly of Armenia, representatives of international organizations, the civil society, and political parties today we were discussing the importance of stimulating the political participation of women and the upcoming steps in this direction\u2024<\/p>\n

Through the presentation of international standards and best practices, the speakers of the meeting presented the best practices and international standards.<\/p>\n

The participants discussed party and electoral quotas, public funding, incentives and sanctions as well as political campaign regulations aimed at increasing women representation in party structures and elected bodies.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The event was co-organized by the International Foundation for Electoral System (IFES), the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and Oxygen Foundation with financial support from USAID.
