On April 4, 2020, the National Assembly-CSO Cooperation Platform held its first online meeting devoted to Domestic Violence Issue in Armenia in light of COVID-19 Pandemia.<\/p>\n

The meeting participants discussed domestic violence issues in Armenia, presented recommendations towards rapid response and effective mechanisms of DV prevention in the light of COVID-19. <\/p>\n

Meeting participants were RA MPs, representatives of the RA Human Rights Defender\u2019s Office, civil society representatives, experts and international organizations.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The meeting was convened with the support of the Modern Parliament for a Modern Armenia Project. \u201cModern Parliament for a Modern Armenia\u201d project is implemented by UNDP in partnership with the OxYGen Foundation, International Center for Human Development, and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
