On March 21–22, a two-day intensive training was held for members of the Women Peacemakers’ Network. The training was organized by the OxYGen Foundation and led by expert Ani Kojoyan.
The aim of the training was to support the Network in clarifying its positioning, shaping strong and consistent messages, and developing practical tools for strategic communication.
The first day opened with an introduction to the training objectives and expectations. Participants explored the essence of positioning through the key question: “What do people say about us when we are not in the room?” Through group work, they identified 10 core facts about the Network that can serve as a foundation for clear and consistent positioning.
The second part of the day focused on strategic communication. Participants mapped their key stakeholders, analyzed the dynamics of engagement, and identified communication priorities. The day concluded with a joint reflection and summary discussion.
The second day began with a recap of the previous sessions and continued with a focus on transitioning from unified messages to tailored messaging for different audiences. Through practical group exercises, participants developed strategic directions and drafted an initial action plan aligned with the Network’s mission and future goals.
At the conclusion of the training, participants presented their results, reflected on key takeaways, and outlined next steps.
Such initiatives create an important platform for strengthening women’s leadership, collaboration, and coordinated impact, contributing to clearer, more confident, and sustainable positioning in the public sphere.
