“Women Empowerment for Demographic Resilience in Armenia” initiative implemented by OxYGen Foundation is a part of “Demographic Resilience: Expanding Women’s Capacities and Choices through Data-driven Policies” project implemented by UNFPA and funded by UK International Development from the UK government.
The initiative contributes to Armenia’s efforts to address demographic challenges through evidence-based policymaking and inclusive participation. It promotes informed dialogue, strengthens civil society and media capacities, and highlights the role of women and youth as agents of demographic resilience and social progress.
As an implementing partner in the “Demographic Resilience: Expanding Women’s Capacities and Choices through Data-driven Policies” project OxYGen Foundation is responsible for designing and executing the capacity-building and mentorship components that ensure women’s empowerment and active participation in Armenia’s demographic resilience agenda.
Key Activities

The sessions will combine theoretical learning with hands-on exercises tailored to labor market needs.
- Networking and Career Connections: Organize 5 networking events bringing together women participants, employers, and professional mentors. These events will serve as a platform for experience-sharing, building professional relationships, and fostering pathways to employment.
