On May 31, the Farmers Congress was held. More than 100 farmers, members of cooperatives, representatives from local and international organizations involved in sector development and experts participated in the event. Margarita Hakobyan, the Executive Director of the Oxygen Foundation in her welcoming speech briefly presented the mission of the Agriculture Alliance and the conceptual recommendation for the reforms in the Agriculture sector addressed to the Ministry officials.
The event was implemented within the framework of the EU- founded “Structural dialogue Commitment” program under the “Participatory Policy, Sustainable Agriculture” subproject, which is implemented by the Agriculture Alliance.
