The project is a response to the urgent need to address the socio-economic and security challenges exacerbated by the post-war situation, as well as the influx of forcibly displaced women from Nagorno-Karabakh.

The project seeks to strengthen the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP), advance women’s participation in peace and security, and contribute to the overall goal of promoting gender equality and advancing women engagement in peace and security in Armenia.

  • Enhance the capacities of local networks in three target communities (Berd, Goris and Yeghegnadzor) based on the capacity building plans developed as a result of the needs assessment.
