“Women for Labor Rights” network is formed by OxYGen Foundation and Solidarity Center in Armenia.
The “Women for Labor Rights” network aims to unite the efforts of the stakeholders for gender equality in the workplace, overcome gender discrimination in the labor market, and empower women.
The network serves as a national level platform for the policy dialogue with decision makers advocating form women labor rights in the country.
In a long-term perspective for the sustainability the Network aims to collaborate with other Women Labor Rights Networks in the region and beyond for leaning and for sharing the experience and for maximum impact on women labor rights in the market.
The members of the network have the opportunity not only to participate in trainings (on labor rights, job skills, entrepreneurial skills, etc.), but also to raise their concerns and problems related to labor rights during the meetings with decision-makers, and to advocate recommendations for systemic reform.
Mentors and trainers specialized in different spheres work with the Network members helping them to restore their labor rights, identify relevant courses of their needs. They also share their experience with the Network members and participate in advocacy and community development initiatives.
Network meetings are organized at least on quarterly basis, and focus on planning future actions and progress evaluation.
