Green Voices: Advancing Youth- and Gender-Responsive Climate Action in Armenia

Brief description

The project aims to strengthen the participation and influence of women, youth, and local civil society actors in gender-responsive environmental and climate-related governance in the Tavush, Shirak, and Gegharkunik regions of Armenia. By generating evidence on gendered climate vulnerabilities, building local capacities, supporting women- and youth-led community initiatives, and facilitating dialogue with decision-makers, the initiative bridges the gap between national climate and gender policies and local implementation. The project creates opportunities for underrepresented groups to shape environmental decisions that directly affect their livelihoods and communities.
